Probably no more so than bluetooth keyboards and the like. Like anyting else
which is password-based (like logging in, wireless routers, etc), the braille
display owner should simply not share the PIN. Some models allow the PIN to be
changed by the user, and that could be done periodically to enhance security as
well.
