I don't think it'd be a good idea to automatically change a user's settings
like that. There could, in theory, be a brltty option which would do something
like set the screen width to a reasonable multiple of the display width, but
that, too, could have problems. For example, some applications mightn't respond
well to the resize. Graphical applications probably handle SIGWINCH correctly,
but I'm not sure that text-mode applications (using something like curses) do.
