I would like to see BRLTTY's dot tables become Unicode-based. This at least
means that they should allow UTF-8 and hexadecimal specification of the
characters.

The Linux screen already stores the content in Unicode, and I believe that
ATSpi delivers the content in Unicode as well. This means that using
Unicode-based tables would ultimately yield a more direct mapping for those
screen drivers than is used today.
