Yes. I should point out, though, that not only is the old INKA protocol
dependent on a non-standard flow control mechanism, but the data format is
also different, with the result that BRLTTY wouldn't work without modification
of the driver even if the serial format were supported. Still, it would be
possible to solve the serial communication problem and then implement the old
packet format, CRC and all.

Whether that's worth it I'm not sure, but it would be good at least to have
the serial support available in principle so that the remaining work can be
done if anyone wants it.
