[BRLTTY] brltty and Festival Lite

Hi Dave,
I don't know by heart, which characters will be spoken in "some" and 
"most" settings.
I'm trying to get a list, but I wasn't successful, since the help file 
of my screen reader (jaws 7.0) doesn't contain one.
But I found out which characters were spoken by Festival; those that are 
needed for scripting and programming languages:
$ % & / = \ # + * ~ ^ | _
I hope I'd remembered all. All other characters were not spoken.
Could it be possible to switch between all characters and those already 
spoken? That would be sufficient.
