[BRLTTY] Is brltty accidentally holding the device longer?

-r seems to have done it. I'll add an alias brltty='brltty -r' to my startup 
scripts. This seems kind of unwieldy but at least it gets the job done. 
Could there perhaps be something in brltty.conf? Not a big deal, though.
