[quoted lines by Mark L. Melonson on 2007/05/16 at 13:56 -0600]

>I've tested my brailliant 80 with subversion checked out today and it
>works beautifully. None of the problems I'd seen before are occurring.

Just to confirm: Are you the same person who had the problem with the long
lines?

>I got some messages such as: kernel module not installed: pcspkr,

This one is okay. It's because some kernels don't have pcspkr, the kernel
module which implements the console beep, either built in or loaded so brltty
does it and tells you that it did it.

>Unknown packet: 42 and 16 Unknown byte messages.

This is a known problem. It seems to afflict USB connections. It's cause hasn't
been tracked down yet but brltty deals with it. It has to do with initial bytes
missing from the first packet sent by the display.
