[BRLTTY] Question about --prefix

Hello:

In the Orca documentation about using brltty, this statement is made regarding
the build for brltty under Ubuntu.

"Then, when you build BrlTTY, avoid configuring the package with --prefix=/usr.
Use the standard procedure instead, executing the following commands as
{{{root}}}:

./autogen
./configure
make
make install
...
How exactly does a person avoid this by following these instructions? Are
there other instructions that one might follow that would configure the package
with --prefix=/usr.

In the Orca context, the idea of avoiding this is difficult to understand. I'd
like to try and find a way to better describe this if possible. Does it even
need to be mentioned at all?

Thanks.

Chris
