I am guessing this is because you are using the Debian package of BRLTTY,
and I did not enable speech dispatcher support yet.  Patches welcome.

Quoting your reply doesn't add the > signs in alpine. Why?
It works on every other mail.
It seems just to be mails from you, do you use a different format or 
something?
