[BRLTTY] Build failure with gcc 4.3 on ubuntu intrepid.

Greetings all.
I am currently working on the BrlTTy package for Ubuntu intrepid, and am getting the following error. Intrepid is using gcc 4.3, and at this point, I am not sure how to correctly and sanely fix this error. The error follows:
