Only the single line mentioning the segfault is of interest.

I didn't notice anything of interest in the log either; my suspicion is that
Dave and others will really need details from that core file.

Have you searched other directories for it? I would expect to find it in the
directory which was current when brltty was started.

find / -name core
(as root) might help if you really want to be sure.
