Sorry if this is useless without a log...
Using 5789:
Dot 1 produces: a
Dot 4 produces: `
Chord b produces backspace. All good so far.
Dot 2 produces: 1.
But dots 1+2 produce: x
Hmm. I wonder. I'm running the Dvorak keyboard in which every letter
except a and m is mapped to another key. The qwerty b key produces an
x. So I wonder if the Alva might be properly pressing the b code but
it's x on my system. Let's see:
Dots 1+3+4 produce: m
Yep. Let's see. The c key produces a j; thus:
dots 1+4 produce: j
Dots 1+2+3 should produce n: n
Yep.
The Enter key produces a carriage return.
You can do:
loadkeys dvorak
if you're masochistic...
All in all I'd say this is an absolutely stunning beginning! I haven't
tried all the keys but so far I haven't found a mistake except for
Dvorak.
