Tablets can also support Bluetooth, wi-fi, GPS, and NFC. The only software a 
tablet won't come with is applications related to cellular network 
connectivity.

As always, be it a phone or a tablet, one shouldn't assume that any given 
device supports everything. Each device should be checked out to see if it has 
what you would like it to have. This even includes such things as an external 
memory card slot as some phones and some tablets don't have those.
