It can't be the very same error as the original error was failing to reference 
a static library. Did you do a "make distclean" before reconfiguring?

If you're still getting an error, please post it. I myself am not one for just 
being told what an error was in a general sense as details often get missed. My 
preference is to always see the actual error.
