I connected a Braille Sense to my Linux box, running a custom built LFS distro. I first put the unit into terminal mode, using USB. Brltty did not see it.
Here's what dmesg says:
[1827726.693048] usb 1-4: new high-speed USB device number 15 using ehci-pci
[1827728.885088] usb 3-2: new full-speed USB device number 5 using uhci_hcd
[1827729.018090] usb 3-2: not running at top speed; connect to a high speed hub
[1827729.055091] usb 3-2: New USB device found, idVendor=045e, idProduct=930a
[1827729.055097] usb 3-2: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber
=3
[1827729.055102] usb 3-2: Product: Generic Serial (PROTOTYPE--Remember to change
 idVendor)
[1827729.055107] usb 3-2: Manufacturer: Generic Manufacturer (PROTOTYPE--Remembe
r to change idVendor)
[1827729.055111] usb 3-2: SerialNumber: 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000
What did I do wrong?
