Are you referring to the Android accessibilitiy gestures that move to the
next/previous screen element?

>I can't figure out if it is the same as going forward and backward as stated

Could you please remind me regarding which keys the Focyus Blue has? I'm
guessing that it has the left/right nav rockers, but I'd like to be sure. Also,
which keys are on the front? I need to ask because I've never had or borrowed
one, and because brltty's tables don't specifically identify it as being
special.

>It would be nice to be able to do this with Brltty without having TalkBack

This is a separate issue. There's a required feature known as Explore by Touch.
While brltty doesn't need the touch gestures, it does rely on the accessibility
focus feature which, rather than being a separate and independent capability,
happens to be maintained within Explore by Touch. The difficulty is that it
gets complicated when two different accessibility services (in this case,
brltty and talkback) both need it. I'll have another look at getting this to
work better from brltty's perspective.
