The important log is:

bn braille driver version 5.4 does not match expected version 5.0 at 5477

This means that you've compiled version 5.4 of the braille driver but are
trying to use it with version 5.0 of brltty itself. While this is just a
warning, it explains why things start to go wrong, and, therefore, why the
driver isn't successfully initializing.

>I ran it with following command -
>
>sudo brltty -bbn -d/dev/ttyUSB0 -n -e -ldebug,inpkts,outpkts,brldrv -L`pwd`/brl.log

It'd be better to specify the device the new way, which is: -dserial:ttyUSB0
