Yes, I fiddled around with the rpm for brltty from Red Hat and a self
compiled version. Mixing the two is not healthy.
BTW I tryied too configure /usr/local/lib64 as libdir but that does not
work.
My configure script looks like:
./configure \
#	--enable-standalone-programs \
	--prefix=/usr/local \
	--sysconfdir=/etc \
	--localstatedir=/var \
	--libdir=/usr/local/lib64 \
	--includedir=/usr/local/include \
	--mandir=/usr/local/man \
	--disable-java-bindings \
	--disable-tcl-bindings \
	--disable-lisp-bindings \
	--disable-ocaml-bindings \
	--disable-x \
	--disable-contracted-braille \
	--with-braille-driver=al \
	--with-text-table=my \
	--with-curses=ncurses \
	--with-screen-driver=lx

libdir is still /usr/local/lib, why????
