No. But I just realized that I probably need to start xbrlapi for all
this to work (I do not read /etc/X11/Xsessions/* when starting X)

However trying to do start it I get this:
---
didier[~]$ LANG=en_US.utf8 xbrlapi
openConnection: connect: No such file or directory
cannot connect to braille devices daemon brltty at :0
didier[~]$
---
brltty is started though.

Maybe I should use the --auth option, but with what argument?
What syntax and values are expected for this argument?

And does that take in account the settings in /etc/brltty.conf?

Also, what settings could I make in this file to ease connection, even
at the price of less security, to get that working, among those listed
under "Application Programming Interface Parameters" (brltty 5.5)?

One more question: should an even dummy braille terminal be in use
for this to work? I yes how do I set this dummy device?

Didier
