Dear All,

I ran into problem using a braille lite m40 device on  the latest
windows 10 64 bit.

The device is attached to com3 with an usb-to serial bridge which is
properly installed. The device works fine with jaws.

IN brltty I selected the braille lite driver and com3 as a serial device.

On the braille lite the serial parameters are the following:

9600 baud, 8 bits, 1 stop bits, no parity, full duplex, no handshake.

If I run "rundebug.bat" it says can't open serial device com3". What can
be the problem?

If I connect my other alva delphi 80, it works just fine with brltty.

What kind of handshake do brltty use?

What are the required serial parameters for brltty on the blm40?

Yours sincerely,

Istvan
