The problem isn't TalkBack. It's the fettish that console app writers have for 
making the screen look like it's actually a console. What this means is that 
they tend to graphically draw the characters with cool-looking fonts rather 
than just render them as plain text within an accessible text view. Maybe 
there's a usable ssh app out there, but I haven't found one yet. I've been 
thinking of writing one but haven't gotten around to it yet.
