[BRLTTY] brltty and speechd-el

hello. i want to start using emacs. i installed speechd-el and it
speaks. but when launched emacs prints thees:

brltty-connection-error: (error Error in communication with BRLTTY:
(wrong-number-of-arguments #<subr encode-coding-string> 1))
