[BRLTTY] brltty no longer starting correctly

OK, a further update -- changing the channel on my Brailliant to
bluetooth and back to usb enabled brltty to work with the one line
which was unusual:
brltty[479831]: brltty: path not group writable: /dev/uinput
and indeed /dev/uinput says the following:
crw------- 1 root root 10, 223 Jan 29 18:09 /dev/uinput
