Grub isn't Linux. Brltty would need to do a bunch of basic things differently, the same way it has to do them differently for Windows, Android, etc. This, of course, is all possible. I think the drivers themselves would be okay, but how they do serial, USB, and Bluetooth I/o would need to be different.
