OK, gogod to know. AFAIK Halim already compiled a new version of the lib 
with the mensioned patch included and so I'll also do.

It also turned out that many problems are gone when Mate terminal is 
used in fullscreen mode.

Now lets see if Dave can find a solution for the mensioned brltty 
problems. If there is a solution we will test further.
