Basically, yes. ust that it may not be that easy (1) tofigure out what
is not working and (2) to actually make it work. At least that's what
the participants to the mentionned issue were explaining so I can't
insist enough that you refer to it for muchmore contextthan I oculd
provide.

No, nothing beyond the documention you may find on their site.

I just cloned git at github.com:termux/termux-app, had a look at the
README.md file and couldn't find any mention about required permissions.
