The same thing happens, by the way, with Bible apps. They're so desperate to have a screen that actually looks authentic in some way that they, too, do it all graphically. Not accessible at all! :-(

My opinion is that it's never too late. They could offer two modes with the text view mode being the new one. Then they could develop it without destroying the way that already works.

To this day I don't even have a laptop. When I'm away from my desk I'm away from Linux. Like when I was in the hospital for what ended being five weeks a couple of years ago - no Linux! Same thing when I stayed with my wife for four weeks in the hospital when they tried giving her a marrow transplant - again, no Linux! Aat least, for those four weeks I was with her and, given the two choices, that was easy.
