Also, in case that matters, the successes in connecting the Active Star
40 with BRLTTY were, as far as I know, observed with an internal
firmware version 2.0. In my experience newer firmware do not work as
well even for USB connection, in the sense that there are some key
combinations that these later firmwares do not treat like the firmare
2.0 did, talking about PC-style keyboards here.
