[BRLTTY] How to install brltty on a Mac?

Hi,

I'd like to install brltty on my M1 Mac. Is there a description how to
do that?

I've found some older descriptions, but I do not know if they are still
up to date.

I've started to clone the brltty git repo and then run autogen, but this
failes with errors. I am sure that there have to be installed some
things before, but which?

Can anyone post a short description please?
