It's also showing a "missing acknowledgement" log, which is what was happening when brltty wasn't running with admin privileges. There weren't enough enabled log categories to see if it was trying to report "no attachable console", though, but my guess is that it was. So I think the issue is that the service isn't running with admin privileges.
That may be correct. However, I'm totally sure I started the service from a console running with admin privileges. The service wouldn't start otherwise.
I'm willing to give you more log data if necessary.
