the first one contains Unicode braille patterns whereas the second one contains what looks to be NABCC. One of the problems, for sure, is taht NABCC, to my knowledge, doesn't define a character for any dot combination that includes dot 8, and also not for several that contain dot 7. To get this right, you'd need to find documentation for exactly which character your printer is expecting for each of the 256 possible 8-dot combinations.
