What happens if you run it by starting the brlapi service? Maybe that'll give it admin privileges.

This doesn't seem to be true when you ran it with admin privileges. That's odd as there's nothing within the USB code that'd be affected. I'll have a look at the code as, perhaps, the acknowlegdement isn't being seen when no attempt is being made to read the device's keys.

It's too bad that one would have to buy a whole new computer - i.e. one with TPM2 support - in order to run Windows 11.
