Hi Samuel and all,
I have done some more testing.
1. My script works when I am connected directly to the linux server.
2. It also works over a ssh session.
3. It also works if I run screen over a ssh session.
The failure them is when I am running the GUI. I am using the i3 desktop
which is a part of the stormux project and the nodm window manager.
I do not know what is causing the script to fail. Is it orca?
I'll try to share some logs.
How do I share them?
Pranav

That completely depends on how you start brltty. Possibly the simplest could
be to uncomment
log-level server
in your brltty.conf

That's fine. grep is a tool to look out for stuff.
