Okay, thanks. Perhaps you could send two logs - one in navigation mode and one in input mode - where you try it. Be sure to tell me exactly which key combination you're trying.

This one may not make it into 6.9 but that's okay as it's easy to release an update to Google Play (as I just did for you to do this testing). Of course, if I can figure it out quickly then it will.
