Yes. Android is very protective regarding allowing non-system apps being able to see a device's HID descriptor. This issue is being pursued and will hopefully eventually be resolved. Sadly, I've also tried to convince HumanWare to add back Bluetooth Serial Profile suport but they don't want to. It's one of those situations wherein either side could fix the problem but it's always the other guy's fault! :-(
