It isn't an easy fix. They're using their own view to present the cosole so they'd have to convert to usig the accessible one (which Android calls a text view). In my opinion, they should introduce a choice as to which view is used, with the new text view choice being declared to be experimental and not the default. Then we could choose it and work with them to improve it as needed. This way, they wouldn't need to risk breaking what they already have.
