It wouldn't be that different - just in how the screen is rendered. An Android text view is a standard widget which, really, all apps should be using. The problem with ssh people is that they want to use cool fonts so that what the user sees on his screen looks like a PC console. There's a similar problem with Bible apps, by the way. They, too, want to use fancy fonts so that the text looks official, classic, etc. Sighted people just can't seem to satisfy themselves with basic-looking text.
