[BRLTTY] Alva Satellite 544

Dear listers,


this is my first time in the list, my name is Michal and I work as a 
head coordinator of the Braille Authority of Slovakia. I also serve as a 
tech support in our library for the blind in Slovakia, mostly regarding 
the braille technology.

Recently we have some issues with braille displays of our transcribers, 
early repairs of braille Focus displays and so on. And I found out we 
still have some old Alva Satellite 544 displays stored and unused, so I 
would like to give them a try, the cells seems to be working just fine 
even after 20 years.

Therefore I installed BRLTTY on my windows 11 and   connected the 
Satellite through serial port com1.

After configuring it, I was able to run run-brltty.bat and received a 
positive feedback, the display was reacting and in terminal mode is 
displaying some information. Display is reacting, after pressing left 
key - BRLTTY.exe: ignored byte 0D



Could you, please advice me, how to bring it to work with NVDA? I set up 
the display as brltty in NVDA, but nothing happens.

Any advice will be highlly appreciated.
