Agreed. Terminal emulators running under Wayland are a different matter, 
of course, and they're my main interest these days, as I rarely use the 
console anymore. We need solutions for both environments, even if a 
terminal emulator not requiring Wayland is only used by a given person 
in emergencies (a crucially important use case).
