[BRLTTY] brltty deb update give still a eternal still unresolved problem

Hi,

I did my weekly apt-get update here this morging on this platform where
I installed an Etch distro;

OK, I see that there will be a new update for brltty. I press ENTER so
that my Debian can update about 52 packages...

Well, after having updated I heard the beep sound of a starting brltty,
but it still forget to kill the older one:
so I immediately got the traditional problem of being able to read
since it jumps like it is dancing the Rumba :-)
This problem is for years still the same, unresolved:
- can't it be a good idea to prevent from starting a new
brltty and to simply give the comment that "you have to reboot your
machine if you'd like to use this new brltty version", just as it does
for new kernel installations?
- or does this problem can't be fixed definitely with a stop and new
start, but then correctly?

(fyi, on this platform my display is an Alva Satellite 544)

Aldo.
