Are you referring to the one called LSR which IBM is developing? Do you work
with Peter Parente?

>It would be nice to be able to switch translation table programmatically.

Are you saying that you'd like to be able to switch the translation table via
BrlAPI?

Are you wanting to be able to select from the set that comes with BRLTTY or are
you wanting to supply the table content itself?

The and mask lets you forcibly turn off certain dots and the or mask lets you
forcibly turn on certain dots. Both work on a per character basis.

A display number error or a protocol number error? The protocol number was
recently incremented to prevent problems which were occurring when newer
clients were connecting to older servers. If that's the error you're getting
then just recompile brltty as well with the same version of the code.
