Hello,
So I asked Papenmeier again for a new firmware upgrade and finally they
sent me the 125 firmware update.
I applied it and now the problem seems to be solved, no more sleep after
two or three seconds. As I write this mél I haven't tested yet on my
eeepc but the test is successfull on my Ubuntu system where the bug was
also present.
Now I notice another problem which I think is the consequence of the
firmware pugrade : previously with brltty 3.7.2 the braille display was
automatically turned on sleep mode not after 1or 2 seconds but I think
after 2 or 3 minutes. Now with firmware version125 the braille display
is always active, no more sleep mode at all (not well to use with a
laptop !).
Jeronimo, are you noticing your braille display always stay active ? If
I remember well you tell us in a previous message that it turns on sleep
mode after 2 or 3 minutes ?
Let's see what it will be doing when I will upgrade to 2.6.24 kernel.
