[BRLTTY] Please, I need help (fwd)

Could be useful to know a bit more about the actual situation. Thoughts
which come to mind are:
I notice that there seems to be a lot to do with remote unix access
(sdf), is this where brltty is being used? If so, then the configuration
described will not work (I don't know whether it is actually possible to
get brltty to communicate in some way from a server). I would suggest
that local screen readers are used to get Braille access to the remote
system (when working in a text console of a remote system, not sure
about a GUI on the remote system).
Also is he aware that Linux serial ports are numbered from 0 not 1?

There may be something else wrong, but those are the first things which
come to my mind.
