Okay. Maybe a stupid question but here goes ... 

I have the directory from SVN main/brltty.
I copied this directory to a new place.
I change to the directory.
I did a "autoconf". Not sure about this step because it wasn't in the docs
but there wasn't a configure file there ...
I did a "./configure".
Everything up to this point worked as I'd expect.
I did a "make" and got:
Makefile:35: absdeps.mk: No such file or directory 
Makefile:36: reldeps.mk: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `reldeps.mk'.  Stop.
Neither of these files exist.
Help!
