I can't remember whether somebody answered.

If you have a driver provided by your manufacturer that creates a
virtual COM port, you can just use it.  If it doesn't provide any, then
you will have to replace it with the libusb-win32 driver. Do _not_
install the libusb-win32 filter, as it seems to be broken on 64bit.
