[BRLTTY] Another table subtility

Hi,

While doing some searches about signs..., I wondered if it was possible
to type œ directly on braille keyboard. It seems yes (fr-2007.ttb). So I
added in fr_FR.ttb:
char \u0153	(1 3 5 78) # oe
char \u0152	(1   5 78) # OE

Then:
echo "keycode 254 = U0153 " | xmodmap -

But I can't enter the sign on the braille keyboard (as in console mode
as with X). I tried also in previous command to replace U0153 with oe
OE, idem. I checked fr_FR.ttb the 2 combinations I choosed seem free
(fr-2007.ttb uses others).
On keyboard, altGr+o+e does the sign.

An idea?
