[BRLTTY] When starting brltty as a normal user there's no error message

Hi all,

I noticed in Philippe's messages, and confirmed it myself just now,
that when brltty is started as a normal user no error message is
printed and yet the program stays resident. This seems less than
optimal from what I can tell. Surely brltty knows it's not talking to
anything, probably knows that this is because it's not root, and
there's no way to rescue this session. Unless this behavior is
required for grub it seems to me this should be made a fatal error.

What do people think?
