It provides keymaps for entering braille, and console fonts for
displaying Unicode braille on the Linux console.

I personally install it on every machine of mine, to get Unicode Braille
to render on the text console, and therefore work with BRLTTY.

For instance, if the name in my signature renders for you, you have
working Unicode Braille support already (likely you configured
console-braille already).  If you see only question marks, installing
and configuring console-braille will help.
