[BRLTTY] Mac OS X users.

Hi David!
You could try to mail accessibility at apple.com and ask them.
I really don't know what you mean by apple's accessibility interfaces but i guess its something to do with how the programs accessing the screen or something.
I am no programmer so this might be a dumb suggestion.
