[BRLTTY] Focus 40 Blue and brltty 5.0

I have a Ubuntu 14.04 system with brltty 5.0. It does not recognize my 
Focus 40 Blue. What's more, it sent it some weird stuff that made it 
unresponsive. I had to connect it to a Windows machine and let Jaws 
reset it. It does recognize my Pac Mate display, but I would like to 
use the Focus. What can be done?
